When one works on small quantities, distillations are then described as microdistillation. The microdistillation allows to test mixtures to be separated when their quantity is limited. Whatever your industrial sector (chemicals, pharmaceuticals, oils, environment, biotechnology, cosmetics), this technique can be very useful to test the feasibility of a distillation.
