Scraped film evaporators or thin layer evaporators are used for the treatment of viscous products or thermosensitive products which are strongly degraded in conventional evaporators. The residence time of the product is reduced and evaporation is more effective. Processium has in its laboratory a scraped film evaporator that allows to test this advanced technology on mixtures to be separated or purify.
