Processium
Experts in industrial process engineering

Partnership

PROCESSIUM has ties with several academic and industrial partners and is involved in various international networks in order to provide its customers with the latest and best technologies.

Ever since its founding, the company is supported by the Total Foundation and Oséo Anvar.

PROCESSIUM is also actively involved in Axelera, the global Chemistry & Environment competitivity cluster, and leads two of their projects:

  • Process intensification through utilization of microwaves for chemical synthesis: SAMOI.
  • Wastewater treatment via photocatalysis: PHOTIOS.

Industrial Partnerships

  • Speichim-Processing, part of the Séché-Environnement group, is a specialist in the treatment of industrial solvents, wastes, and chemicals, regardless of their initial applications.

The company operatea on three industrial sites (St-Vulbas, Mourenx and Beaufort) in France. Its other activities include solvent sales and purification of chemicals. The company is certified ISO-9001, 9002 and 14001.

Academic Partnerships

Processium initiated scientific collaborations with several laboratories and universities, each of which are leaders in their respective areas.

  • Université Lyon 1 (France): Several laboratories perform measurements on complex systems, and testings on innovative technologies.

  • Ecole des Mines de Paris (France): The Energetics & Process Center develops methodologies, software programs and measurement tools in the fields of thermodynamics.

  • Technical University of Denmark: The Department of Chemical Engineering implements new process simulation software packages based on a physical approach.

Networks

PROCESSIUM is an active member of various scientific networks:
  • AXELERA (global Chemistry & Environment competitivity cluster): PROCESSIUM is involved in two major research project of this cluster.

  • CO-LaN (Cape Open Laboratories Network): PROESSIUM is part of the CO-LaN, which aims at developing and promoting the use of software packages meeting the CAPE-OPEN compatibility standards.

  • The UNIFAC Consortium develops and improves the group-contribution models UNIFAC and Modified-UNIFAC-Dortmund.
