Vapour liquid equilibrium (abbreviation VLE) is a State where a liquid and its vapour (gas phase) are in equilibrium, a condition or a State where the rate of evaporation (liquid becoming vapour) is equal to the rate of condensing (vapour becoming liquid) under specific conditions where no net vapour liquid interconversion intervenes.

These concentration data  of vapour liquid equilibrium can be determined experimentally for mixtures of various components or for pure compounds.
